Imagine if you were asked to transfer 10 sacks of rice to a distance of 20 kilometers and all you\’ve is your rusty old bicycle, wouldn\’t that be such a pain? If you are a seasoned athlete, doing the task wouldn\’t be an issue for you, if not, you can just forget the idea. But that\’s, if you would only be using a bicycle. But if you have a bigger vehicle like a truck, then the task wouldn\’t be a problem.

Trucks are made to carry heavy loads or in transporting heavy equipment as they are powerful vehicles. Trucks enable us to finish work faster. Because of trucks, people then can no longer have to carry building materials one by one.

Just like any other mechanical equipment, trucks are made of parts. These truck parts, which make the truck a whole, are the reason for the efficient work of the vehicle. A truck is typically composed of a chassis, an engine, a suspension, a cab, axles, and trailers.

A chassis is basically the supporting frame or the bottom frame of an automobile. It holds the vehicle\’s body and motor. The engine is the truck part that converts energy from the fuel to mechanical force which makes the vehicle work. The axle is the shaft that supports the wheels. It works by ensuring the wheels are in their right positions and in harmony with the body of the vehicle. The cab is where the driver is seated, it is an enclosed compartment. It also serves to protect the driver. The last part is the suspension. It comprises of springs, shock absorbers and linkages to make sure safety while on the road. It also promotes comfortable travel even when you will find bumps on the road.

These truck parts work together to ensure that the truck functions properly. Each part is equally important to another for without the proper function of one, the truck as a whole won\’t work they way it should. Apart from each other, these parts are useless but when put together, they make up a very powerful machine. This is the reason why when a truck part is damaged, it should be replaced with a part that is original and if possible, one that is the same with the damaged part. Although it may cost you, it is possible to be confident in its efficiency.
